Application for a place at TU Dortmund University day care center

Note: With this application, you express your interest in a childcare place for your child (under the age of three). The TU Family Service will accept your application and forward it.

You can submit your application at any time. Places are allocated in January of each year for occupancy from 01. August.

The family and professional situation of the parents, their childcare needs, and also the current group structure (age and gender of the children) play a decisive role in the allocation of childcare places.

Please note that if the commitment for a childcare place is made to children of employees of TU Dortmund in DFG projects, cost coverage must be ensured from the DFG's equal opportunity funds and the research-based supplementary allocation. The corresponding form can be found on the Family Services page under Childcare.

Privacy information

By submitting this application form, you provide us with personal data, which we store in an application list to accompany the application process. (Legal basis Art. 6 para. 1 letter b. - entering into a contract). Furthermore, we pass this data on to the sponsor of the company's large day care centers in order to be able to allocate places. The provider will contact you by telephone or email if a place is confirmed. You can withdraw your application at any time. If you withdraw your application, your data will be deleted immediately. Your data will be deleted 3 years after receipt of your application at the TU Dortmund University or if the purpose for storing it no longer applies. You can obtain information about the data stored about you at any time.
