How to find us
You can reach the North Campus of the TU Dortmund with the S1, the H-Bahn or the various city buses (445, 447, 462, 465, NE8).
One of the landmarks of the TU Dortmund is the H-Bahn. Line 1 runs every 10 minutes between Dortmund Eichlinghofen and the Technology Center via Campus South and Dortmund University S, while Line 2 commutes every 5 minutes between Campus North and Campus South. It covers this distance in two minutes.
Coming from the S-Bahn stop "Dortmund Universität" or the H-Bahn stop "DO-Universität S", walk up the stairs, past the university library and cross the bridge leading to the orange cafeteria building.
The bus stop "Dortmund Universität" is located under the mentioned bridge, you can get up via different stairs. The H-Bahn stop "Campus Nord" is directly on the bridge.
From here, walk towards the refectory building and leave the high-rise building with the TU logo on the roof on your left. This will take you to Martin-Schmeißer-PLatz with its fountain and trees. Cross the square and continue up the stairs and when you reach the top, turn directly right. You will then already see the large house number Emil-Figge-Straße 66.
Use the entrance marked G1, the staff office rooms are located there on the first floor.

From the A40, take the Dortmund Dorstfeld exit (43). Turn left onto Hauert and then left again onto Emil-Figge-Straße.
You can use the parking spaces at entrances 9,10 or 12 and walk across the parking lots to the back of building G1.
Alternatively, turn right at the traffic lights onto Vogelpothsweg and use the parking lot at entrance 21. You can then reach our offices on foot via the same route as described under "By public transport".
From the A40, take the Dortmund-Barop exit (44) and then turn directly left. Drive to the traffic circle and take the first exit in the traffic circle into Emil-Figge-Straße.
You can use the parking lot at entrance 21. To do so, turn left at the traffic lights onto Vogelpothsweg. You can then reach our offices on foot via the same route as described under "By public transport".
Alternatively, you can use the parking spaces at entrances 9,10 or 12 and walk to building G1 from the back. To do this, continue straight ahead at the traffic lights on Emil-Figge-Straße; the parking spaces are on the left.
From Dortmund Airport, the AirportExpress takes just over 20 minutes to Dortmund Central Station and from there to the university by S-Bahn. A wider range of international flight connections is offered by Düsseldorf Airport, about 60 kilometers away, which can be reached directly by S-Bahn from the university's train station.
