Anti-Muslim cases have increased in recent months. Those affected often feel alone. Karima Benbrahim will be hosting a Safer Space on 26.06.2024 from 4 to 6 pm at Ruhr-Universität Bochum for all Muslim students at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, the University of Duisburg-Essen and TU Dortmund University following her lecture "Antimuslim racism - an (in)visible phenomenon" (2-3.30 pm). This protected space offers the opportunity to exchange experiences and feelings and to strengthen each other. Strategies can be shared and mutual empowerment practiced here.
Participation in the lecture is open to anyone interested. Karima Benbrahim will also address the effects that anti-Muslim racism can have on students and lecturers. Afterwards, there will be space for reflection, questions and discussion.
Further information can be found here.
