Abuse of power at the university: Forum abuse of power at the TU Dortmund University - continued

Following the 1st Forum on Abuse of Power in October 2024 in TU Dortmund University's Audimax, we would like to use this online event to introduce all TU members to counseling services and complaint options at TU Dortmund University and to discuss the following questions with you:

• Who can TU members turn to if they experience abuse of power or observe abuse of power in their environment?
• What possibilities are there for those affected to get support and advice, what measures can be taken against this misconduct?
• What options are available at our university to lodge an official complaint against a person who abuses power?

In order to shed light on these options, we have invited possible contact persons from various areas of the TU to present their services and procedures for reported cases of abuse of power, to answer the participants' questions and to find out more about the counseling needs of TU members.

The event is designed so that you have the opportunity to participate completely anonymously. During the talk, you will also have the opportunity to submit questions and comments anonymously via the digital tool Wooclap. The 90-minute lunch talk will be organized and moderated by members of the cross-departmental working group on raising awareness of abuse of power, which previously organized the Forum on the Abuse of Power at TU Dortmund University in October 2024.
