23rd Career Forum for Postdocs: Focus on UAS Professorship
- Equal opportunities
- News
On 29.09.2022, the next career forum for scientists with a doctorate will take place - finally again in the presence of the campus.
A professorship at a university of applied sciences (HAW) can be an attractive option for a career in science. But how does a UAS professorship differ from a university professorship? What requirements must be met for such a professorship? And how do appointment negotiations classically proceed?
The career forum provides one day of comprehensive information about the career path of a UAS professorship and offers space for individual questions. Experts will take time for intensive discussions on topics such as applications and appointments, professorships at private universities, and research and research funding at universities of applied sciences.
In addition, several UAS professors will provide insights into their daily work in specific subject areas. In addition, short individual consultations on personal career issues with experienced coaches will be offered.
In addition to a wealth of information, there will once again be personal networking opportunities over coffee, lunch and cake.
More information on the program and the registration form can be found on the Research Academy Ruhr website.
Program coordinator is Nadine Finke-Micheel.
