Breastfeeding and rest rooms

The TU Dortmund University has breastfeeding and quiet rooms on both campuses (there are also diaper-changing facilities):

  • Audimax-building, Vogelpothsweg 87, first aid room, UG - the key can be obtained from the gate on the first floor to the right of the main entrance
  • Emil-Figge-Straße 50, first aid room 0.241 - the key can be obtained from the gate in the foyer
  • HG II, Otto-Hahn-Str. 4, first aid room 0.215 - the key can be obtained from the gate at the main entrance
  • SRG I, Friedrich-Wöhler-Weg 4-6, first aid room 0. 008 - the key is available at the gate at the main entrance
  • SRG I, there are sofas and beach chairs in the Room of Silence: Friedrich-Wöhler-Weg 4-6, room 0.027
  • New Chemistry-Physics Building, Otto-Hahn-Str. 4a, first aid room E0-103, main entrance right to the end and then left
  • Otto-Hahn-Str. 8, mail room and first-aid room, ground floor R. 109 - the staff in the building will open the door - please ask on site
  • In the foyer of Mensa building: Baby changing and breastfeeding area opposite the InfoPoint, a room with two armchairs, changing table and 
  • There are sofas and a changing table in the FLINTA* room: Emil-Figge-Str. 50, ground floor, R. 0504 (currently closed)
  • In the building Co-Learning-Space, the is a room for changing diapers and breastfeeding: Joseph-von Fraunhofer-Str. 18, 44227 Dortmund, Nr. 0.07 (directions). If you have problems with access, please contact the central porter on 0231-755-2212. Closed on Saturdays.
  • HG I, August-Schmidt-Straße 4, room 107, right corridor - key at the gate in the building opposite
  • MB III, Baroper Straße 303, first aid room, 1st floor R. 1.016

The rooms are each equipped with a changing table and in some cases with a kettle and two comfortable seats. Here you can change and/or breastfeed your children in a quiet and pleasant atmosphere.

There is also a lounger in each of the rooms so that pregnant women can also use this room for rest periods.

Keys for the breastfeeding and quiet rooms can be collected from the respective gate nearby.
