Family Service

The Family Service of TU Dortmund University advises and supports all members of the university in balancing family responsibilities with their studies or career. Our services include:

• assistance in finding childcare places
• holiday childcare programs
• support for relatives in need of care
• facilities for families on campus (parent–child rooms, breastfeeding and quiet rooms, diaper-changing facilities)
• the Parents’ Café and the Fathers’ Network
• free children’s plates in the cafeteria
• up-to-date information for pregnant students and employees, parents and caregivers
• useful information on housing, finances and leisure activities
