Content

In this diversity management project, Felix Dobbert's photographic seminar interacts with the faculties of Chemistry and Chemical Biology as well as Bio- and Chemical Engineering.

Opening up new, unknown places and situations is fundamental to artistic creation. That is why the students of the Department of Art and Art Science encounter fields of work and research that are foreign to them and completely different, namely those of chemistry and engineering. The students' task is to approach these fields in an artistic way. They first thematise and work out various strategies offered by the multifaceted medium of photography and then develop independent photographic works. In this way, artistic works are created that offer chemical and engineering workers a new perspective: an unusual perspective on their usual everyday life and familiar place of work.

A planned exhibition as well as a catalogue will bring the results of the artistic project back to the place where they were created at the end of the event.
