Forum on the Abuse of Power at TU Dortmund University

Rector Manfred Bayer, Vice Dean for Diversity Petra Wiederkehr and all other members of the Abuse of Power Working Group invite all students and employees of TU Dortmund University to the Forum on the Abuse of Power at TU Dortmund University on Wednesday, October 23, from 3 to 6 p.m. (s.t.) in the Audimax.
Abuse of power at universities is still largely a taboo subject, although it can affect everyone. In this event, we therefore want to address various forms of this misconduct and discuss how those affected can be supported, as well as show what measures we have taken as a university and what we still need.
Input from all status groups at TU Dortmund University is required. Our invitation is therefore aimed equally at students, doctoral candidates, academic staff, professors and employees in administration and technology.
A short keynote speech by Prof. Dr. Daniel Leising (TU Dresden), founding member of the Network against the Abuse of Power in Science (MaWi), on the abuse of power in the university context will be followed by a panel discussion with audience participation with

- Christian Beisenherz, moderator and graduate of the Institute for Journalism Studies at TU Dortmund University
