With the joint compatibility week "Between aspiration and everyday life - ways to reconcile", the HochschulNetzwerk Familie NRW is implementing a cross-institutional event format for all students and employees of the member institutions for the first time.

Dear university members,

from May 18-22, 2026, the HochschulNetzwerk Familie NRW (HNF) is offering various digital events. The focus is on parenthood and caring responsibilities - and the associated challenges in everyday life. Topics such as parental leave and parental allowance, health cures, parenting and media skills as well as the compatibility of care and work are addressed in a practical way. The series opens up different perspectives, makes areas of tension visible and encourages people to find their own ways between demands and everyday life.
