Are you a member of the student council but don’t know anything about awareness (yet)? No problem! Just sign up for the workshop on awareness-raising in a university setting:

What to expect:
- Basics of awareness: definitions, principles, and key terms
- Understanding discrimination and raising awareness of different forms of exclusion
- Developing strategies for a discrimination-sensitive university culture
- Concrete ways to address discriminatory behavior and support people who experience discrimination
- Practical Approaches: How Can We Implement Awareness in Student Council Work?
Whether you already have experience with awareness work or are new to the topic, you are warmly invited to attend.
The workshop is free of charge and is organized by the Central Counseling Center for Protection Against Discrimination and Sexualized Violence (SchuDS) in collaboration with the “Awareness in Student Councils” working group of the student councils.

By August 11, 2026, via email to schuds@tu-dortmund.de Please include your first and last name and the name of your student council (max. 3 people per student council).
You will receive information about the exact event location after registering.
