Anti-Semitism at universities - workshop for students
- News
- SchuDS

Dear university members,
Antisemitism is not a phenomenon of the past; students at universities also report antisemitic incidents in the lecture hall, on campus or in social media time and again. This often raises the question: How can I react appropriately? What can I do if I witness an anti-Semitic incident in a seminar, in a study group or online?
In cooperation with ADIRA NRW, the Central Counselling Centre for Protection against Discrimination and Sexualized Violence (SchuDS) is offering a face-to-face workshop for students at TU Dortmund University, Ruhr-Universität Bochum and the University of Duisburg-Essen as part of the UA Ruhr Annual Anti-Discrimination Programme 2026.
When: May 21, 2026 - 2-4 p.m.
Where? TU Dortmund University (information on the exact location will follow after registration)
Registration until May 21 at https://eveeno.com/301640211
The workshop provides basic knowledge about different manifestations of anti-Semitism and shows concrete options for action in everyday university life. The aim is to gain more confidence in dealing with anti-Semitic situations and to learn about the scope for action.
We look forward to many participants and will be happy to answer any questions.
