Making Campuses Safer

Have you discovered racist, sexist or other discriminatory stickers, lettering or flyers on campus? Please document this with a photo and details of where and when you discovered it. Send this information to schudstu-dortmundde. If you cannot/may not remove it yourself, we will take care of it. In consultation with the legal department, TU Dortmund University will consider legal action. Help us to make the campus safer.
By the way, these stickers are now available to take away from the AStA or from us on request by email.
If you have been affected by discrimination or sexualized violence yourself or have observed something, we offer confidential and, if you wish, anonymous advice. Further information about us and our work can be found here on our website.
Do you feel unsafe on campus?
Students and staff can make use of an escort service provided by the security service after 6 p.m. or at weekends, which will accompany them from the building to their car parking space or to the bus stop. This can be requested, for example, via the service point in the library, at the Co-Learning Space next to the seminar room building or directly from the security service.
Help in an Emergency
The technical control room and security staff are present at the central gates of the main buildings during opening hours and can be contacted in the event of danger or for help. In emergencies, TU members can use the "SOS emergency tile" in the TU App. Relevant telephone numbers (fire department, police, control room) are listed there.
